egend has it that in the beginning, Gaeah, the Goddess of Creation, crafted Magesc and her four children: Soudana, Seren, Abronaxus, and Vaevonus to share rule over it. Each of the gods created different dragons and creatures to roam the world. The three elder gods even created their own people - the raguati of Soudana, the asarei of Seren, and the dovaa of Abronaxus - to inhabit the world and rule over the creatures within it. Vaevonus wanted no such power and wished only to inhabit the world created by their mother in complete peace with the creatures they had all created.
However, soon after the creation of the magescians, disagreements between the gods began as each of them wanted the world to amount to something different. Soudana wanted to rule it alone with darkness. Seren wished for a similar path, but with light. Whilst the brothers, Abronaxus and Vaevonus, wanted nothing but peace and harmony between them all.

Eventually, Soudana and Seren began to wage war with one another; one that would last for eternity. Amongst the magescians, the war became known as the Great Engagement and it is said that the victor would lay claim to Magesc and be able to rule it however they wished. Abronaxus was unable to bring harmony back to Magesc and took his people to their own realm - the Celestial Realm - away from the carnage, allowing his sisters to do whatever they pleased. Vaevonus, similarly, retreated to the depths of the magescian seas to escape the chaos that happened above..
This harsh split of the dovaa eventually caused strain amongst the other magescian races as they continued to try and bring the dovaa into the war, each with the intent to meet their goal of ultimate domination of Magesc. Some dovaa gave into the temptation and joined the fray, others kept to their own realm to steer clear of any fighting. The goddesses later took their battle to the heavens and left their people to fight amongst themselves to see who would become the victor and rule Magesc after obliterating the other. Abronaxus followed in order to try and restore the celestial peace. Vaevonus remained in the depths of the seas in hopes of never encountering the creations of his siblings. |

Although the gods have all but left Magesc, it is said that each of the elder gods finds refuge in the holiest place in their individual strongholds only for the leaders of their people to speak to. The Oblivion Sanctuary in Noxholm, Soudul; the Citadel of the Order in Staemgard, Serenia; and the Celestial Fortress in Euferia, Celestial Realm.
The war has waged for over a millennia and no victor has yet been chosen. You are a new initiate into the stronghold. What will your life amount to?
